We offer hourly lessons including 5 hour workshop packages.
During a typical first lesson you will establish a starting point. This is done through a discussion of your swim and fitness background and an understanding of your goals. You will be video recorded and assessed in relationship to your current swimming ability. You will learn about body position and instinct as well as timing and efficient movement. You will begin learning one or two basic drills to establish a streamlined body position in the water.
Further lessons will begin to incorporate more dynamic movements to isolate rotation, timing, alignment and grip. You will continue to be video recorded so you can monitor your progress and see your application of the skills.
Ultimately, you will add breathing techniques.
The amount of time, in regards to the overall process, varies with each individual.
